On November 17, the champI4.0ns consortium and its guests met high above the rooftops of Vienna for the public kickoff of the project. This gave interested parties, network partners, funding bodies and funding processors an insight into the work done so far, the use cases that have already been further developed, and the consortium’s plans for the next 42 months. A particularly important aspect of the project is the scalability of findings in the wood industry and wood-based materials industry to other industrial sectors.
